Jonathan’s passion for art began early, influenced by his father, Karl, a landscape painter who instilled a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. After starting his career in the Ottawa film industry, Jonathan launched his own production company, JustPixl, in 2014, to pursue his distinctive style, which he found wasn’t widely represented in the market. Running JustPixl helped him refine his aesthetic and solidify his focus on cinematography. During the pandemic, he relocated to Vancouver to further pursue his craft.  Today, he brings his vision to life through compelling cinematography, continually drawing from both his artistic roots and his evolving creative journey.
